IncentiveDirect creates innovative online reward and recognition systems.
We believe that rewards are the currency of inspiration.

P erhaps it's the warmer weather and the longer days, but at the moment our enthusiasm and motivation is running at an all time high. But it's more likely that it's a clear sense of purpose, a vision of where we want to be, and a roadmap of how to get there, that is keeping us fired up.

Part of that vision is ensuring that we deliver the best possible service to our clients, and keep meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.

/01. The IncentiveDirect Platform.

Incentive platform

As we began to put together the new version of iD-points, we soon realised that it is not simply a revision to the system, but a whole new way of thinking about what we do, and how we operate as a company.

We have taken great steps to create a foundation upon which can be built not only the next release of iD-points, but a range of other products. These will offer a suite of online reward and motivation solutions, across both the B2B and B2C markets.

We call this the IncentiveDirect Platform, and we believe it will drive our business over the next five years. It will enable us to build and deploy a range of innovative, market-leading solutions quickly and effectively.

The Platform allows us to manage our business processes with a streamlined administrative overhead, and allowing an integrated way of managing products, suppliers, invoicing, orders and users. It incorporates such things as help ticketing, e-mail marketing, form building, order tracking, and reporting.

The Platform is also extensible. We are currently looking at ways to integrate with third-party CRM applications and other hosted applications.

Upon this platform, products such as iD-points sit, utilising the features and benefits from a robust set of core functions, and tailored for specific uses. Knowing that everything in the engine room is running smoothly allows us to focus on working with our clients, building relationships, and adding value.

/02. Project Chameleon, sneak peek no. 6 - point management

Point management

In the new version of iD-points, we're making some changes to the way that points are managed, giving Supervisors more power to run their incentives, and giving End Users a better idea of how many points they have.

In the new version of the system, points will be debited from users when they order items, not when the order ships. This means that their balance will be an accurate reflection of the points they have to spend. We found that users like to 'spend down' from their current balance - this move enables this.

Of course, if a user cancels an order before it is shipped, the points are re-credited to their account.

For Supervisors, they will be now be able to debit points from End Users. This will make it much easier to move points from one account to another, in the case of incorrect credits, or if several End Users want to pool their points together for a larger purchase, for example.
